While working in Lombok I noticed a great need for tailored and effective help for these children. The care of Anak Bangsa is focussed on preventing those vulnerable children from working on the street- now and later!”<br /> (Jill Jurgens, Founder/ Project Coordinator)</p> <p></p> <p>Anak Bangsa, a partnership of Dutch and Indonesian organisations<br /> The organisation was set up to provide underprivileged children in Central Lombok with the opportunity for a better future.<br /> <br /> The Anak Bangsa Foundation (ABF) is a Dutch, registered non- governmental organisation focussing on the promotion and public relations of Anak Bangsa. They provide the major financial support to their local partner in Indonesia in order to establish and continue the After School Care Program. With various events the team in The Netherlands is actively raising awareness and funds for the children in Central Lombok<br /> <br /> The Yayasan Anak Bangsa Indonesia (YABI) is the local partner of Anak Bangsa Foundation, registered in Indonesia. With its main funding coming from the Netherlands, YABI is responsible for the development and implementation of the After School Care Program in Central Lombok. A team consisting of a project coordinator, manager, social worker(s) and teacher(s) is daily taking care of the children, the project and its activities.</p> </body>
